Marika Ruottinen & Justincase Burning Love "Pihka"We are so excited to be participating in the World Championships.I have represented Finland in the Nordic Championships three times with a previous dog. Ihave had dogs for 25 years and my goal is always to enjoy and have fun with my dog.Pihka is a 5 year old Labrador Retriever bitch and is currently my only dog. This year we wongold in the Finnish rally obedience Championships, last year we won silver. In addition to rally obedience, we also do hunting, field trials (gold game) and working tests.Pihka is a very conscientious professor who always wants to do things as she has beentaught. Pihka is a bit shy, so I am looking forward to seeing how Pihka will do in front of alarge audience.See you all at the competitions :)

Jenny Susi & Red'n Ready Doomsday Countdown

Jenni is teaming up with her 6yr old Australian shepherd Huisa. For Jenni, this is third year in the national team, and second year for Huisa. Both are of course very honored to represent Finland in World Championships here in Austria!

Katri Ristimäki

Tending Impulse

I'm Katri Ristimäki and have been training in rally obedience for 10 years. I also own anotherBorder Collie with whom I have competed in obedience and rally obedience.  At the World Championships I will be competing with my 7-year-old Border Collie Hippa, who became Finnish Champion in 2023. This is our second time on the national team. Hippa is a calm and steady performer — quite different from what you might expect from a Border Collie — and working with her has been a rewarding learning journey. I'm proud of how far we've come together.

Mikaela Lindqvist &
Malinator's Dependeble Diza

Mikaela Lindqvist & Malinator's Dependeble Diza "QT"I'm Mikaela Lindqvist, and I'm proud to be part of the Finnish rally obedience team with myBelgian Shepherd, QT.I've been competing in rally obedience since 2013, and QT joined me in the ring in 2018.This is our first time competing at this level, so it's a really exciting milestone for both of us.We're here to give it our all, enjoy the journey, and hopefully make Finland proud!

Mila Häkkinen &
Bristregal Jackpot Jack

Urho is a 5-year-old bearded collie and proud to be in team Finland. My older beardie and Iwere in the team last year and it's amazing to have another beardie competing at this level.Urho has a lot of ideas which aren't always align with my plans, but he always tries to be agood boy and he's also an obedience champion. Since it is possible to interact more withyour dog in rally, it suits this lively dog like a nose in a snout.

Anna Savolainen &
Myytin Elämän Tarkoitus

Venla, "the little fox girl," is a very important dog to me, and her official "Life Purpose" describes her perfectly — her purpose in life is love. Over the years, she has enjoyed many activities, earning merits along the way: FI, DK, EE, SE and NORD ROBCH, FI OCH, FI WCH-PKJ, and FI and SE DDCH-FS. With her joyful spirit, she brings light and meaning to the everyday.

She is a cherished member of our family. Most importantly, our journey together means everything to me; with Venla, I learn something new every day, just as I hope she learns from me. Above all, what matters most is that we enjoy everything we do together.

Taru Leskinen

I have been doing rally obedience with my cocker spaniel Lilli since 2013. My current hobby partner is Ruska and we have started rally obedience and tracking hunting dogs with her.
