Team Germany

DE 1 Rebecca Kowalke &
Fire N Gold A Shadow Trooper
My name is Rebecca, I am 23 years old and I live in the north of Berlin. I have been active in dog sports since 2017. My partner on the road to the World Championship is Aragon, a five-year-old Malinois. He is incredibly sensitive and cuddly, but full of drive when it comes to working. He always gives his all, no matter the weather or situation. In 2024 and 2025, we became East German Champions in the National Class. At the very beginning of our journey, we also won the title of State Champion of Berlin Brandenburg. Our favorite activity is walking through the forest. That is where we recharge and find our balance, far away from the noise of everyday life. Besides dog sports, I love reading, especially crime novels and thrillers. At home, we live together with two other dogs and enjoy the peaceful life on the outskirts of Berlin.

DE 2 Shauna Wenzel &
Ultra Power of Silent Storm
I have been a passionate obedience competitor for nearly 20 years, successfully competing and winning all major German titles. My dogs and I have represented Germany 10 times at the Obedience World Championship, with several podium finishes – and this year we proudly reached 7th place in the final. Maisy, however, didn't enjoy obedience quite as much as I do – and thanks to her, I happily discovered rally obedience. Maisy and I both love it, and we're very much looking forward to meeting many competitors from around the FCI world in October!

DE 3 Gabi Riemer &
Tequila of Shadowman
I am 49 years old, married, and our pack includes our three Border Collies, Giotto, Sheldon, and Tequila. I work as a tax clerk, and our dogs have been allowed to accompany me to the office for 7 years.I have been practicing Rally Obedience for about 9 years, training regularly in a club, and I completed my training as a Rally Obedience judge 5 years ago.In recent years, I have achieved a 2nd place and several 3rd places at the national championships. My sports highlight was participating in the World Championship with Sheldon at the 1st FCI World Rally Obedience Championship in Turku / Finland.Tequila is only 4 years old and an active and very balanced dog. We moved up to class RO 3 at the end of 2024. In addition to Rally Obedience, he also trains in Hoopers, where he competes in class H 2, and he is also trained in Flyball.

DE 4 Gabriele Weiss &
Amanda Springsalabim
My name is Gabi Weiß. I am married and 64 years old. I am a dog trainer specializing in sport (rally obedience and hoopers). We have 7 dogs, 3 Border Collies and 4 Papillons aged from 1 year to 10 years. I do Rally Obedience with all 7 dogs (since 2014) and Hoopers with 4 dogs (since 4 years). And we also do a bit of trick training. Mandy, the dog I am competing with at the World Championships, is 5 years old and competes at the highest level in both Hoopers and Rally Obedience. In 2022 she became Bavarian Champion and German Champion. In 2024, I was already able to take part in the 1st World Championships FCI RO in Finland Mandy always tries to give everything for me, is reliable and eager to work. At the same time, she is calm and balanced at home.

DE 5 Anja Kuschel &
Luckymover Amore Mio

R1 Alina Niehues &
Quintesa Emmi Lady Traudels Sonnenschein

R2 Karin Kraemer &
Anima Donato Blümchen
We are Karin and my 7-year-old Border Collie Blümchen and we live in Bavaria. Blümchen has an excellent memory and masters new commands reliably within minutes, and is also a very sensitive dog. Blümchen is the first dog I am training in Rally Obedience - we started in 2022. Rally Obedience fascinates me because every course is different and presents a new challenge. Since 2023, we have been competing nationally in class 3 and won the Bavarian Championship twice. Last year, we were Bavarian runners-up in the FCI class. Besides dog sports, Blümchen likes jogging and swimming and sometimes goes sheep herding with me. We are delighted and proud to be part of the German team this year as second reserve runner.

Teamleader
I am happy to be the team leader of the German team this year. I have made it my task to clear all obstacles out of the way for the entire team. This way, every team can fully concentrate on their runs.
